WHAT IS MIRIMIRI & ROMIROMI
Mirimiri and Romiromi is a traditional MÄori healing modality, that is used to whakatau/calm the tinana/body, hinengaro/mind, mauri/lifeforce and wairua/spirit. We shift trapped energies that may be causing pain and discomfort.

MIRIMIRI | Mirimiri being the tuakana - an energetic form of healing, which can be delivered in numerous forms; Korero/counselling, Waiata, Takutaku, Karakia, Taonga Puoro, breathwork, connection to wairua and Tupuna/ancestors, energetic and vibrational stimulation and shifts. Mirimiri is the non-physical aspect and is the energetic alchemy that happens before the physical touch of Romiromi.

ROMIROMI | Romiromi is the physical aspect that is used to re-align, re-adjust, the physical body. Using our hands/arms/elbow, kohatu/stone or raakau/sticks to stimulate haemata and haematua which are accupressure and acupuncture points to shift and relieve aches, pains and traumas trapped within the body.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR SESSION
Your session will be held in a safe, grounded space where you remain fully clothed throughout.
For spiritual protection, we use a Kaupare and Wai Tai to clear and protect the energy around you.â
You’ll be gently guided to use your breath to support the release of any blocked energy within your body.
At times, this process may bring emotional release, we will kĹrero with you as needed, supporting whatever arises in the moment with care and respect.â
After your session, we encourage you to spend some time in nature, rest, and honour the shifts that have taken place.
Drink plenty of water, as your body may continue to release and recalibrate in the days that follow.â
This is a sacred space for healing, both physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
