Our first time of growing Hue in a tunnel house. The first two pics were taken in the warmer months and the 3 hue with the nguru were taken today. We are very happy with the surprises that nature has created. Joe has been working on nguru for the last couple of weeks with bone inserts

Haumanu waananga held in Feburary

Haumanu Collective Waananga Feburary at Arahura marae.

Joe attended this, He enjoyed it learnt lots and enjoyed being around playing and making Taonga puuoro, it didn't matter if you could play or you couldn't play there was room for improvements. Kaiako did a fantastic job in facilitating the wananga, meeting the needs of tauwera

great experience to rub shoulders with like-minded tane and wahine and the learnings that came with the wananga. Highly recommend attending these waananga. Thanks to Eli for organising.

Creating nguru
